Colwick Hall Hotel is a magnificent palladian style Georgian country house mansion nestling in over sixty acres of parkland. A historic building dating back to Saxon times and once the ancestral home of Lord Byron. Located just two miles from Nottingham City Centre, Colwick Hall is a grade II* listed manor with a grand entrance overlooking Nottingham racecourse offering exquisite facilities. From the award winning Georgetown Restaurant, 1776 The Grand Ballroom ~ hugely popular for grand weddings, several function rooms for meetings and conferences and private dining, through to the Lakeside Pavilion ~ a grand marquee within the grounds of Colwick Hall overlooking the lake.

Reservations Coordinator
As a Reservation Co-ordinator at Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham, you will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times on front desk.
Manages front office functions and successfully execute all front office operations including guest arrival and departure procedures. Strives to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize sales. You will have a good knowledge of our facilities and services, and will pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises, in order to maximise hotel sales.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for the role with a friendly, helpful approach. Full Time position working shifts of 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm. The candidate will need to display exemplary customer service skills and must have good hands on ability in reception operations.
Requirements

At least one years front desk/customer service experience at a four or five star hotel and have the enthusiasm and energy to bring to the hotel front office.

Extensive knowledge of Front Desk, Switchboard and Concierge/Guest Services operational procedures

Knowledge of overall hotel operations as the affect department

Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems, preferably RoomMaster Hotel Reservations System.

High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Hospitality Management Degree beneficial
Remunerations
Excellent salary packages from £12k to £16k depending on experience.
