Exhibitions at Nottingham Castle

The best in regional, national and international art can be seen in the Exhibition Galleries on the first floor of the museum. A lively programme of up to eight exhibitions annually, vary from old masters like Turner, modern greats like Andy Warhol to home-grown talents. Paintings, photography, textiles, installations and sculpture often feature in single artist or group exhibitions. The early home of the writer D.H. Lawrence is an astounding re-creation of a Victorian family home that is brought to life through informative, friendly guides. Here you will be lead through the three floors of this cramped miner's cottage where all the Lawrence family would live.

D.H. Lawrence Heritage is conveniently positioned just off junction 26 of the M1 in Nottinghamshire and is easy to find.
