Nottingham Rugby Annual Ball and Awards Ceremony

Nottingham Rugby recently held their Annual Ball and Awards Ceremony at the Colwick Hall Hotel on the 26th of April 2008. The sell out crowd enjoyed an evening of fine food and celebration of a fantastic season hosted by Trent FM’s Jo and Twiggy, they then partied the night away to the smooth tones of Nottingham’s Roy De Wired. 

Ben Thompson, the Operations Manager from Nottingham Rugby said “The Annual Ball and Awards ceremony was a fantastic success and I cannot thank the staff at Colwick Hall enough. As ever with these events there are last minute changes but the staff dealt with them in such calm collected manner that the evening ran very smoothly. From the initial stages of booking through to the end of the evening they have been absolutely fantastic."

Dagfa House School's Annual Charity Ball

Dagfa House School held their annual charity ball for their third year running at Colwick Hall Hotel on the 15th of March 2008. The themed 'let it snow' night was a huge success attracting many guests who enjoyed a night of fine food and excellent entertainment.

The Lakeside Pavilion at Colwick Hall was transformed into a winter wonderland with huge hanging snowballs and icy table decorations. After a sumptuous 3 course meal, guests were thrilled by the swinging tunes sang by Campbell Base who appropriately finished with hit number 'let it snow, let it snow, let it snow' to a back drop of spectacular indoor fireworks...what a finale!

Colwick Hall played host to the Heart 106 Lifestyle Awards. This award show rewards the excellence of East Midlands’ retail and hospitality sectors. From fashion, hair and beauty to eating out, working out and staying over, the Lifestyle Awards is the first event of its kind in our region, celebrating the finer things we love in life.
