The Grand Ballroom is an opulent suite with a hand painted ceiling resting on four ionic pillars. Adjoining the Ballroom is the Champagne Lounge, opening out to the lawns overlooking the lake and fountain, making a wonderful photo opportunity under the great oak. Sophisticated, highly ornate and impressively detailed with fluted Corinthian pillars. Guests can enjoy the Champagne Lounge (originally the library within the house) for a pre drinks reception or as a relaxing breakout room with the main meeting, conference or dinner in the Ballroom.

The Lakeside Pavilion is an all year round grand marquee with breathtaking views of the lake and country park, this makes for the most romantic setting. The Lakeside has its own decking area, ideal for photographs and its own private bar, dance floor and stage. The Pavilion can also accommodate bands, discos and a host of options for entertainment that you may have planned. The grand, all year round, marquee befitting a stunning historic house is the perfect venue for hire for large corporate events, product launches, conferences and exhibitions. Accommodating up to 550 delegates is very popular for awards dinners, themed functions, dinner dances and balls. Set alongside the lake and overlooking the country park it makes for a most exquisite setting. Situated on the east wing of the manor, the DeColwyck is the perfect venue for a smaller wedding reception with access to the landscaped gardens. Enjoy the fine views of south facing gardens and wind down in the comfort of the John Carr. On the south eastern wing, designed in the Rococo period, this suite of three interlinking rooms is ideal for meetings and conferences in the day, private dinners in the evening be it corporate or social.

Byron’s is the original dining room of the house and boasts an ornamental ceiling depicting eight cherubs. The feature walls are adorned with prints of the famous poet Lord Byron, making an ideal venue for boutique weddings. With its own private entrance at the front of the hall it lends itself to a more intimate wedding reception. Byron’s has a real ” wow” factor. As you step in, the magnificent Wedgewood effect ceiling depicting Cherubs and Venus is breathtaking, as are the featured walls adorning pictures of the famous poet and his romantic poems. A firm favourite for private birthday and anniversary celebrations, hen do’s and many more.
